We help families throughout London find the care they need to remain living at home. Find out how our home care services are developed to meet your specialist care needs.
Our services are thoroughly tailored to your needs, with every step aimed to make sure your requirements are met.
01. Initial Consultation
Our professional care consultants will arrange an initial consultation with you to discover your requirements and what you expect to receive from our carers.
This can include:
The forms of care that you need
How long you will require our carers services (long-term/short-term)
Any medical conditions you have and need help with
The daily tasks you expect your carer to carry out
Other particular requirements you may need
02. Carer/Housekeeper Search
After you have registered your interest in our services and have completed the initial assessment, we will be able to select a suitable carer for you.
Our consultants will always ensure that the carers they select have the relevant experience and training to handle your case.
We will interview these carers individually, ensuring that they can provide the quality of service we know our clients expect. We will conduct DBS police checks, qualification assessments and thoroughly verify their references.
03. The Candidate Interviews
Once we have interviewed the carers we think will serve your needs best, you can interview them yourself. This can be done face-to-face or over a video call. However, we believe our carers will match your needs, only you will know best who will suit your requirements.
This is all part of our personally tailored service. By inviting you to vet your carer personally, we ultimately aim to create a genuinely bespoke care service that will meet all of your individual requirements.
04. Confirmation of Employment
Once you have selected a carer that you feel will be the most appropriate for your needs, we will liaise between you and the carer to arrange for them to start working with you. Our payroll department will be able to help you arrange the payments necessary to employ our carers.
Depending on the scale of the care services required, whether full-time live-in care or temporary short-term respite, we will take a certain proportion of the carers annual salary as a fee. This can all be worked out with our payroll department.
Book a Consultation
If you have any further questions or queries about the care services Companions Home Care offers, please contact us today. Give our team a call, and they will be happy to take you through our services, offering suggestions and specialist advice.
Certain services require a mandatory work duration. For example, if you only need temporary care assistance, either 3 or 6-month contracts are available. In either case, as a part-time service, we will expect our carers to be paid for 25 hours of work per week.
